About……. Andrew Lye, of Johnston, Pembrokeshire…. UK (aka MOONRAKER)
I was born almost 50 years ago in Devizes, Wiltshire. The term “Moonraker” is given to those born in Wiltshire. The story of the Moonraker legend can be found on a Google search.
Fortunate to have had a good education, all paid for by the state, I moved to Pembrokeshire in 2001 and am now self employed.
I am currently undergoing major changes in my private life, but hopefully, intend to remain based, where I am in this beautiful county of Pembrokeshire.
I am a workaholic, but I also have time with my dogs and I am hooked on Ebay, as a buyer and seller, purely as a hobby.
Whilst some people may consider me to be controversial, I am happy to stand my ground and like a healthy discussion. Its a shame that my blog on a local newspaper got blighted by personal abuse, when it was totally uncalled for.
Politically, I am “liberal” with a small “l”, though I can see good in ALL political parties.
My blog here, is to comment on Pembrokeshire, Welsh, UK and International events, as well as some of the minor things I do or see, in my day to day life - whether its at home or in my work, around the West Wales area.
I do not go out to offend and I appreciate all points of view. However, I am entitled to my own views. I respect yours and only expect you to respect mine. I do not welcome the personal abuse that one or two individuals felt they had to do, on my previous blog. I just want and expect intelligent discussion. I hope thats not too much to ask….
